From a practical point of view, the porcelain enamel coated grill is the standout feature. It cleans up far more easily than the cheaper wire grills I've used in the past.
Very good value and ideal for two to four people. My only criticism is that if you're used to a larger family BBQ, the cooking area feels a bit compact, but that's the trade-off for portability.
I was considering a Weber portable model, but this gave me the same convenience for much less money. It lights quickly and the grey finish looks smarter than I expected.
Bought for weekend day trips and it has been great. The heat control is easy to manage. I would have liked a carry bag option, but the grill itself performs really well.
How to Use
- Place the BBQ on a stable, flat outdoor surface in a well-ventilated area away from flammable materials.
- Connect the unit to a suitable LPG or propane gas cylinder using a compatible regulator and hose, following the supplied instructions.
- Open the gas supply, turn the first burner control and press the piezo ignition button to light. Repeat for the second burner if needed.
- Preheat the grill for 5-10 minutes with the lid position and burner settings adjusted as recommended.
- Cook food on the porcelain enamel coated wire grill, using one burner for direct heat and the other for gentler cooking if desired.
- After cooking, turn off the burners, shut off the gas at the cylinder, allow the BBQ to cool fully, then wipe down the grill and body.
